Pure Adhan Privacy Policy
Pure Adhan is an Android application that provides prayer times, qibla direction, reminders, widgets, dhikr and qada tracking. This policy explains what data the app uses and how that data is handled.
Data used by the app
- Location: Used to calculate prayer times for your area, show city or district information and calculate qibla direction.
- Manual city information: Used to calculate prayer times when automatic location is turned off.
- App preferences: Theme, language, time format, notification settings, calculation method, hijri date adjustment and similar settings are stored on your device.
- Worship tracking data: Dhikr counts, qada tracking and prayer completion markers are stored on your device.
- Purchase data: Plus purchases are handled through Google Play. The Google Play purchase token may be sent to a secure verification service to verify and restore the purchase.
How the data is used
The app uses data only to calculate prayer times, show qibla direction, schedule reminders, update widgets, keep user preferences, verify Plus purchases and restore purchased access.
Location
Location is used for prayer times and qibla direction. Pure Adhan is not designed for continuous background location tracking. If location permission is not granted, you can select a city manually.
Notifications and alarms
Pure Adhan requests notification permission only for prayer time reminders and test notifications. Some Android devices may require alarm permission so time-sensitive prayer reminders can arrive more precisely. These permissions are not used for advertising or marketing notifications.
Ads
The free version of Pure Adhan may show ads. The app uses Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to display ads, measure ad performance, prevent abuse and serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on user choices and applicable law. The ad provider may process device information, advertising ID, approximate location, app interactions and ad performance data according to its own policies. Plus removes in-app ads.
Purchase verification
Plus purchases are made through Google Play Billing. The app may send the Google Play purchase token to the Pure Adhan verification service to verify the purchase, prevent fraud and support Restore purchases.

- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob: Used to show ads in the free version.
- Google/Android system services: Used for location, notifications, widgets and device permissions.
Data storage
App preferences, dhikr and qada tracking are stored locally on your device. Purchase tokens used for verification may be stored securely on the server side so purchases can be restored and abuse can be prevented.
Data sharing
Pure Adhan does not sell personal data. Data may be processed only when needed for app functionality, purchase verification, ad delivery, security, compliance or legal obligations.
Data deletion
You can remove local app data by clearing app storage on your device or uninstalling the app. Purchase records handled by Google Play can be managed through your Google account and Google Play purchase history.
Children's privacy
Pure Adhan is not designed specifically for children and does not knowingly collect personal data online from children.
User choices
- You can turn off location permission from Android settings.
- You can turn off notification permission from Android settings.
- You can select a city manually inside the app.
- You can clear app data from device settings.
- You can manage purchases through Google Play.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the app's data handling changes. The latest version should remain accessible from inside the app and from the Play Store privacy policy link.
